About PHL

PHL started in late 2024 as a simple idea: create a place where people could come together and play THE FINALS. With no real tournaments on the horizon and no pro scene to speak of, this was little more than a passion project at the time. Before long though, what began as a small group of players through Discord quickly grew into a community built around competition where the most dedicated players helped kickstart THE FINALS esports scene as we know it today. From the early days of kill races, cash cups, and sunday pugdays - to the full fledged league that PHL has become - this is the culmination of thousands of hours of community involvement. For many of the incredible tournament organizers, moderators, casters, artists, and most importantly the players within the space, PHL was their first time being involved in a competitive scene, and we're proud to be that home for many.

Since then PHL has grown and evolved over the years to become the pinnacle of THE FINALS esports high level play. During The Grand Major 2025, THE FINALS' first official world championship held at DreamHack Stockholm, 11 of the 16 teams competing at that event competed in PHL, including 2025 world champions NTMR, proving that PHL truly was the path to pro. This DNA was recognized officially by Embark studios and ESL / FACEIT when PHL was elected to house the official B-stream of the Grand Major itself.

We're incredibly honored that so many teams, players, and fans have come to know PHL as their source of THE FINALS competitive action. PHL was built by the community, for the community. We carry that torch from those who came before, and we're committed to maintaining that truth in the years to come.
